Our World Needs Hope and Healing More than Ever

With You their Future is Brighter

One Act of Kindness. Twice the Power to Heal.

Fudia was born with severely twisted legs, she was in constant pain and often mocked by others. Her family searched everywhere for help, but medical care was out of reach. For many families, this struggle is heartbreakingly common.

When bowed legs that cause such shame are easily treatable … no little child should be left untreated.

Across Africa, 9 in 10 people who need surgery still go without. Every two seconds, someone dies from a treatable condition because help never came.

Together, we can change that.

Thanks to the kindness of supporters like you, Fudia’s story was transformed. She received life-changing surgery onboard the Global Mercy, and now, she walks proudly, dreaming of becoming a doctor to help others just like her.

Sadly, many children like Fudia are still waiting for the surgery they urgently need. Without help, they face a future of pain, rejection, and lost dreams.

You have the power to change that.

All donations to Mercy Ships Programs will be doubled thanks to a generous brother and sister from Brisbane who are matching every donation received before 30 June 2025–dollar for dollar.

That means your gift today will have twice the impact, helping reach more people in urgent need of safe, affordable surgery across Africa.
