We’re looking for carpenters to join the volunteer crew of the Mercy Ship. With so many people living and working on board , repairs are always needed. Our carpenters are here to help with that.

Whether it be large repair projects working alongside the engine department or assisting with furniture in the cabins, our carpenters are always ready to lend their skills. Take your carpentry skills beyond anything you thought possible. Together we can provide hope and healing!

Whether you’re performing surgery to remove a tumour, cleaning the deck, or making repairs, it takes skills of all kinds to bring hope and healing. See how our Technical Crew makes a difference on board the Mercy Ship!

What Our Volunteers Say

Michael Jones, NT
Carpenter
“Being a part of the team of carpenters that help maintain the ship is important.  I had never done anything like this before so I had no idea what to expect. It has been challenging but definitely a rewarding experience that I will cherish. “
