Some of the most meaningful moments in life happen when people gather. A simple coffee can turn into a deep conversation, a chance meeting can become a new friendship, and often the connections made continue long after the morning ends.

My career has always centred on creating those kinds of spaces. At Innovation Bay I helped bring together angel investors and entrepreneurs, building a community that sparked new opportunities and life-changing collaborations. At Impact Club I worked alongside people passionate about impact investing, curating events where values-driven individuals could connect and grow together to make the world a better place. In national membership organisations, I’ve seen how belonging to something bigger can transform both individuals and entire communities.

These Mercy Ships coffee mornings are born out of that same belief, that when generous and curious people sit down together, something extraordinary happens.

There is no fundraising ask and no formal agenda. Coffee is covered as my gift, so there is no cost to you or to Mercy Ships.

People who have come along before often tell me afterwards, “I almost didn’t come, but I would have been so disappointed to miss out.” The mornings are warm and welcoming, the conversations are inspiring, and many leave with new friendships and fresh ideas that stay with them.
